Democratic Party candidates lodged complaint against Sarath Fonseka

(Colombo, Lankapuvath) – It is reported that the several Democratic Party Badulla District candidates has lodged a complaint to the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka stating that the Democratic Party has violated their rights under the privileges and immunities clause.
The complaint was lodged by Democratic Party Badulla District candidates, A. M. Vijitha Kumara, S. P. P. Lionel, Chandrasiri Muhandiram, and Shantha Kumara, in defiance of the leader of the Democratic Party Sarath Fonseka, Democratic Party Team Leader for Badulla District Chanaka Samaraweera, Democratic Party Wiyaluwa Electoral Co-Organizer Indika.
Accordingly, the Democratic Party campaign statement handbills and CD prints of voting list which few selected candidates received has been the reason for the complaint.
